Queen Serenity and Neo Queen Serenity, it is distressing how often the two are mixed up. It isn't always newbie fans that confuse the two either, I've seen images, and references of the two mixed up in shrines, and even "big name" Sailor Moon sites. It's actually quite a sad thing, especially with the differences there are between the two. One image I often find thrown in a "Queen Serenity" gallery is this one to the left. I can see why people might mistake it for being Queen Serenity, but it is NOT her! Just look at the outfit! Queen Serenity never wears an outfit like that, NEVER! She never has the little material things on her arms, she never wears a true looking crown, and her earrings never twist like that. Now why might someone mistake that picture of Neo Queen Serenity for Queen Serenity? There are a few reasons. One, she has wings. Why? I don't know, but it's still not Queen Serenity. Second, Sailor Moon is already in the picture. Yeah she is, but that doesn't mean her older form Neo Queen Serenity can't be. Also this picture is from the 3rd Artbook, the one for the 3rd season, in which Queen Serenity never appears. So, if you don't know which one it is, look at the outfit! It's an easy way to find out.
